Passed away at his residence on Saturday December 11th, 2021 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of the Janet McGarey (nee Phillips) for 38 years. Loving father of Odessa McGarey (Richard Datcu) and Halley McGarey (Beau Murray). Dear brother of Peggy McGarey – predeceased, Jim Mcgarey and Terry McGarey (Anne). Loving son of the late James and Pearl McGarey. Richard will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services at this time. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E.
