Richard Thomas “Ricky” Ross
1943-2021
The death occurred peacefully while surrounded by family at
the QEH on Wednesday, September. 22 ,2021of Richard Thomas
“Ricky” Ross of Charlottetown, age 77 years.
Ricky was the beloved husband of the late Carol Ross (nee
Gauthier) and the father of David (Rhonda), Johnny (Susie) Karen
(Trent Shepherd) and Kevin (Stephanie). Ricky was the proud grampy of
Amanda and Kyle Leyte, Isaac and Lilli Ross, Megan and Dylan Ross,
Nick and Bria Shepherd and Madison Clinton. He was a great-grampy to
9. He’ll also be missed by special fur buddy Bennett and many people
who thought of him as a second Dad or honourary grampy. Ricky is also
survived by half-brothers Walter and Garfield and was pre-deceased by
parents Wilbur and Bena and half-brother Arthur.
Ricky’s wake will be held at Hennessey Cutcliffe
Funeral Home on Sunday, September 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. by
invitation with COVID-19 restrictions in place. Funeral mass will be
celebrated at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer on Monday,
September 27th at 10:00 a.m. by invitation with interment to follow in
the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
