Richard Keyes O’Donnell, formerly of Doaktown passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 86. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Born in Carroll’s Crossing NB, he was the late Keyes and Hazel (Amos) O’Donnell. Prior to his retirement Richard worked as a night watchman and boiler operator at the former Russell and Swim Mill in Doaktown.
He is survived by his two daughters, Angela Price (Beresford) of Doaktown and Gwen Stewart (Barry) of New Bandon, two sons, Bernard O’Donnell (Patty) of Calgary Alberta and Dale O’Donnell of Doaktown and 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, siblings, and an infant granddaughter.
At Richard’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
