Randall Scott Breen, born Jan 11, 1956 in Oliver BC. Randy was the oldest of two children born to Cora and Gord Breen. At the age of three Randy moved to Edmonton then later to Red Deer. In later years he moved back to Edmonton and in the summer of 1983, he met the love of his life Debbie Lazurko. On December 29, 1984 Randy and Debbie were married and moved to Kelowna to begin their new life together. Randy opened a new golf course, Shannon Lake, where he worked for the next 5 years. In 1990 Randy and Debbie set on a new adventure and moved to Nelson, where Randy took the job of head pro at the Nelson Golf Club, now known as Granite Pointe Golf Club. Randy work there for 10 years, organizing tournaments, keeping the members in line and making sure everyone was having a good time.
On April 30th, 1994 Randy and Debbie got the best gift ever when their son Alexander was born. He was the apple of Randy’s eye, whom he always referred to as “The Boy”. Randy later returned to school for 3 years to further his education in computer programming while working full-time at Esso. He always made sure he could provide for his family. Randy did not stop there with career changes, on April 16th, 2004 he made his final move to join the Home Hardware Family, where he entertained customers and co-worker for the past 17 years.
Randy was a family-man, his wife Debbie was his everything. She was not only his wife, but his best friend and he cherished the ground she walked on. Randy was very proud of their son Alexander and loved him dearly. Randy loved all his family, making yearly trips to Saskatchewan to visit his in laws Paul and Elise and brother-in- law Rick. Where they enjoyed many great family meals.
Randy is survived by his wife Debbie, son Alexander, brother
Rob of Calgary, mother-in-law Elsie and brother-in-law Rick of Yorkton, Sask.
Randy was predeceased by his parents Gord and Cora Breen and father-in-law Paul Lazurko.
