R. Budd Reid
1931-2021
The death of Reginald “Budd” Reid, of Centreville, NB
occurred on October 12, 2021 at The Upper River Valley Hospital in
Waterville, NB at the age of 90. Budd was born June 17, 1931 in
Knoxford, NB, and was the son of the late Addison and Roxie (Burtt)
Reid. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Freda (Reid) and Olen
Watson and Hazel (Reid) and Ralph Orchard; Brother, Perley Reid;
Brothers-in-Law, George Walton and Gordon (Shirley) Walton.
Budd is survived by his loving wife, Idella (Walton); his sons, James
(Edith Robichaud) of Lincoln, NB and Reginald (Catherine) of
Sebastian, Florida; James’ daughter, Amy Reid O’Toole(Shane) and their
son, Gabriel of Oromocto, NB; James’ son, Nathaniel of Ottawa, ON;
Reginald’s daughter, Danielle Andrews (David) their children, Danica
and Dane of Fredericton, NB; Reginald Step’s children, Derrick (Jamie)
Chandler of Mapleton, Maine, their children Ryder and Peyton; Cole
(Tiffany) Chandler of Gray, Maine and their children, Colby and
Kelsey; Sister, Cora (Arnold) Thomas of Centreville; and
Sister-in-Law, Iona (Burtt) Reid of Oxford.
Budd was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge. He joined Carleton
Lodge no. 35 F&AM in June 1967.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from
1-3 pm. Respecting COVID – 19 regulations face masks are required,
proof of vaccination and identification must be shown. The Carleton
Lodge will hold a tribute service at 12:45 pm. A funeral service will
be held at 3:30 pm in the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Garth
Hatheway will officiate. The interment will be in the Upper Knoxford
Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the Kidney Foundation
