It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Marie Thompson announces her
passing after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday January 21, 2021 at the age of
64 years.
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 44 yrs, David and her
children, Amber (Andrew) and Nicole (Ryutaro). Phyllis will also be fondly
remember by her three beautiful grandchildren, Emily, Ashley, Colton. By her
sisters, Rodena ( Macneil) Burke, Darlene (Macneil) Boyd, Audrey (Macneil),
Anderson. Also by her brothers Malcom Macneil and Adrienne Macneil.
Phyllis had a passion for gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She loved
watching the beautiful hummingbirds that were always surrounding her. She was
an amazing cook and baker which her family enjoyed very much. She was
everyones mom!
Phyllis was known for her quick wit and her infectious smile and her kind and
compassionate spirit. Phyllis will always and forever be remembered by her
numerous nephews and niece and extended family and dear friends.
The Thompson family wants to give a special thanks to Shannon Purcell (Palliative
Care nurse) and the Palliative team who supported and watched over mom
throughout the months and weeks leading up to her last day.
Mom we will always love you to the moon and back, forever and forever we will
carry you with us always.
