Obituary
Sadly, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Petro (Peter) Klowak. Petro was predeceased by his wife and our mother, Helen Klowak. Loving father of George, Walter (Anna), Mary Anne (Wayne Delfino) and Teresa. Predeceased by his son Michael. Dido (grandfather) to Adam (Erin), Stefanie (Filip), Keianne, Michael, Lexi, Lee (Rebecca) and Danica (Elliott). Great grandfather to Hudson and Beau. Friends will be received at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (near Dundas), on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 4-8 p.m. Panachyda at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, 30 Leeds St., at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4th. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundations. “VICHNAYA PAMIYAT”
Beginning July 16, 2021 the Bereavement Authority of Ontario is once again permitting visitations and services to take place that are open to the public. We must continue to maintain physical distancing, the wearing of masks and may not allow more than 50 guests at any one time. Once the maximum limit has been reached, we will ask any additional guests to kindly wait outside in a physically-distanced line until there is room to enter safely.
Due to the current Covid – 19 restrictions in Toronto that allow a maximum number of guests to attend a funeral, the service details will be kept private and attendance will be by invite-only.
