December 17, 1958 – May 31, 2021
With profound sadness, we announce that Kerry passed away peacefully on May 31, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kerry accomplished a lot in his 62 years. He created an amazing life and family along with his wife, Anna-Lee. He had a well-established career which led him to share his vast amount of knowledge and experiences with others, as well as many travel opportunities around the world.
He was a very active guy who participated in many sports and organizations over the years. Hockey, Waterskiing and Golf were the top favourite activities for Kerry.
He was incredibly handy and could fix or build just about anything – and he loved to help others out who needed his knowledge and expertise.
Kerry also loved camping. His happy place definitely was taking their trailer and enjoying nature with a large network of family and friends. Speaking of a happy place, when Kerry and Anna-Lee moved to the Okanagan in 2013 they settled right into a perfect house with the most amazing view that never gets old. He even added a large pool and raised deck to their backyard to extend the lake views and increase the relaxation space to which many bevies were enjoyed.
Kerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anna-Lee; his daughters Shauna and Danielle (Jared); his 4 grandchildren Alyssa, Gavin, Kara, and Becca; his mother Rae (Mogens); father Floyd (Harriotte); sister Tracy; as well as the large extension of family and friends that were a profound part of his life.
He truly will be missed by so many… until we meet again…
A Funeral Service will be held to honour Kerry, however, due to the current pandemic restrictions, it will be by invitation only. The family would like to invite all who want to pay their respects to join by Livestream on SATURDAY, JUNE 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM (PST). A recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
