Obituary of Peter Oosthoek
OOSTHOEK, Peter
Aug 19, 1951 – Nov 17, 2021
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Pete Oosthoek due to a heart issue.
He is predeceased by his parents, Lena and Herman, niece Andrea, and beloved cat Rocky. He leaves behind to mourn his passing: Siblings Harry, Rudy, and Rita (Darrell). Nephews Adam, Eric, and Mitchell. Nieces Audra, Stacy, and Lindsay, and great nephews and nieces. Friends Larry & Michelle Sanjenko and sons.
Pete was born in Holland and came to Canada in 1953 with his parents. As a little boy he was very scared of big dogs and big construction equipment. But when he got older, ended up loving big dogs and big construction equipment. He drove semis, tow trucks, cement mixer trucks, and forklifts. He became an expert welder and was foreman at a custom wood burning stove company in Victoria, BC. In 2007 he moved back to Saskatoon where he remained till his passing. Pete was a good person with a unique personality and was very intelligent. He had a tough exterior hiding a sensitive sweet side that he let out sometimes.
He will be missed and never forgotten. He was special guy. Due to covid precautions a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thanks to doctors, nurses, and staff at RUH CCU.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Peter
