Obituary of Peter McKay
(Dochart Brick & Tile Ltd.)
It is with sadness the family of Peter Thomas McKay announce his peaceful passing Thursday evening, February 4, 2021, at home, surrounded by family. Son of the late Jack and Mary McKay (Whelan); beloved husband of Patricia McKay (Frappier); much loved father of Stacey McKay (Ed Kozak) and Andrea McKay; and loved grandfather of Aidan Kozak. Dear brother of Sheilagh Poole (late Phil), George McKay (Heather), and Jana Croskery (James). Predeceased by brother John McKay, and sister Saundra Glynn (late Paul). Peter was always a busy man, caring for his family and managing the McKay family business, Dochart Brick & Tile Ltd., moving on to other projects in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. In retirement, he enjoyed working on his property beside the Dochart Falls, using his John Deere tractor to accomplish much. He was, however, never too busy to sit down, have a glass of good scotch, and exchange stories with family, friends, and strangers. Peter’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. In these times of COVID 19, there will be no in-person celebration of life. A public Facebook page has been created where friends and family can share good memories of Peter. (Search Facebook for Peter T. McKay.) In memory of Peter, the family asks that people reach out and help someone in need.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Peter
