Peter passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, March 27th 2021. Peter was born on October 11, 1931 at the family farm home in Oakburn, Manitoba to parents Agnes and Wasyl Herchak. He was predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Lillian Herchak (also seen in picture) and siblings Sam, Stella Moutray, Jim, Elsie Higgins, Mike, Larry, Wilbert, and Leonard. He is also survived by stepdaughter Connie Will and stepsons Leo and Robert Green.
His training as a geological technician took him to work around the world in such places as the Yukon, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Australia, India and northern Ontario.
He worked in construction and had his own company in Espanola until his retirement. He loved to hunt and fish in the area and spent many a day on Mud Lake.
He will be missed by his brothers (all in B.C.) Ed, Roman (Ron), and Robert, his in-laws in Ontario, and all his friends in Espanola.
