Pearl Wirun
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pearl Wirun of Waskatenau, on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at the age of 90 years.
Pearl will be lovingly remembered by her children Pat, Peter, Greg and Ernie; as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Paul; brother, Steve; granddaughter, Sheri; and parents.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 28, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Park Memorial Smoky Lake, 311 White Earth Street, Smoky Lake, AB. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 29 at 11 a.m., Reverend Michael Maranchuk officiating. The service will be live streamed through Pearl’s Book of Memories at parkmemorial.com
God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be,
so He closed His arms
around you and whispered,
“Come to Me.”
You didn’t deserve what
you went through,
so He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping
so peaceful and
free from pain,
we could not wish you back
to suffer that again.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Waskatenau or Friends of Bar-V-Nook, Smoky Lake.
