Pearce Terry Pond passed away at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial
Health Centre, Twillingate on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the age of
59.
Pearce was predeceased by father
Jack; Brothers George and Gary; father-in-law Sterling Jacobs; and
sister-in-law Melanie Young.
Pearce leaves with many loving
and treasured memories: wife of 27 years Kerry-Lynn; daughter Melissa
(Nick) Rideout; son Mitchell (Kendell); grandbaby Rideout (on the
way); mother Louise; siblings: Juanita (Everett) Burt,
Sandra (Lorne) Mews, Goldie(Stephen) Roberts, Hayward (Denise) Pond
and Angie (Dwayne) Canning. Pearce also, leaves fur baby Mia; and
grand puppies Alfie and Paisley; as well as a circle of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
In light of the current Covid-19
pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community
continues to be our highest priority. At this time, due to
government regulations proof of vaccination will be required.
A public visitation will take place from the Calvary
Pentecostal Church in Twillingate on Saturday evening from 7-9pm. A
funeral service by invitation only, will
take place from the church on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at
10am. Donations in
Pearce’s memory may be given to the SPCA.
