Pauline’s Obituary
Tragically, we lost our beloved mother and grandmother on August 25, 2021. Pauline Ewart passed from this life at the Brantford General Hospital due to complications from COVID-19. She was only 68 years of age. Though it is hard to say goodbye, we take comfort from our faith that teaches us that to die is to gain. Forever loved mother of Richard, Shandrika Blake (Kevin) and Shelika. Predeceased by her daughter Nicolla Bernard (2008). Cherished grandmother of Richard Jr., Shayden and Kayden. Loved daughter of Mavis Chambers and the late Noel Douglas. Dear sister of Errol, Valerie, Alric, Cavil, Wayne, Eddie, Victor, Claudette, Karlene, Jasmine, Andrew, Fitzroy, Verona, Tony, Eldon, Joy and Shirley. Pauline will be dearly missed by her extended family and many dear friends. Pauline loved to cook and sew. She always looked forward preparing food for the next church supper or family birthday party. She will always be remembered for her crispy fried chicken, small Jamaican patties that you could down in one bite or Jamaican Black Cake.
Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Thursday September 2, 2021 from 7 – 9 p.m. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 3, 2021. In Pauline’s memory, donations to Diabetes Canada (www.diabetes.ca/) would be appreciated by the family.
