Paul Douglas House 1943 2021

Obituary of Paul Douglas House
The family of Paul Douglas House sadly announce his passing on October 25, 2021, after battling an illness. Paul fought hard but never lost his quick wit and love for telling a good story. He loved his family and friends dearly. Paul was born on a farm in Stoney Creek and with his ambition and passion for building, he rose from poverty to lead the iconic Tim Hortons brand, while raising two great kids with his first wife Carolee who passed away in 2004. Paul lived a full, rewarding life full of love, laughs and gratitude. Paul was the beloved husband to Juliet and when not travelling, they would be at home in Jordan Station, Marco Island, Griffith Island or Turkey Point, spending time with family and friends.
Paul and Carolee’s beloved children, Marnie (Warren) and Ryan have many great memories of the family farm, ringette tournaments, Boxing Day and family get togethers that will last forever. Paul’s grandchildren, Owen, Quinn and Clara will miss their Bubba dearly. Paul also leaves behind his brother Bob (Bonnie), his sister Patricia, his nieces and nephews, David, Laura (Vincent), Geoffrey (Agnieszka), Correy (Tara) and Skyler (Ryan) and Juliet’s children and grandchildren, Jennifer (Andew) and Riley, Michael (Fabiana) and Maria Victoria. Great nieces and nephews, Kate, Ben, Fiona, Robert, Eli, Addie, Truman and Cohen will miss their Uncle Paul.
Cremation has taken place.
Details concerning a celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation (Toronto), the Scott Mission or McNally House.
