Paul Joseph Battah Sunday May 23rd 2021

Battah, Paul Joseph (April 9, 1964 – May 23, 2021) ~ in his 58th year passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Ross Memorial Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Leeanne. Loving father of Taylor and Travis. Beloved son of the late Henry (2021) and Jeanne (2016). Cherished brother of Denis (Cathy), Bernice (Ron) and Janet. Loved son-in-law of Rose Roth and the late Harvey (2009). Dear brother-in-law of Michael Roth and Stacey Roth. Proud uncle of 6 and great uncle of 5. He will be remembered by his many friends, co-workers, neighbours and extended family. In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to COVID-19 a Celebration of Life may take place at a later date once restrictions have been lifted. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Kawartha Lakes Animal Wellness Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mallory of Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Paramed Staff Kawartha Lakes – especially Ashley, for all the care and compassion shown over the last month. Thank you to the Paramedics and the emergency staff of the Ross Memorial Hospital.
Paul was a wonderful husband, father and friend, he will be dearly missed by all of those who knew him.
