Passed away peacefully at his home in Kemptville Ontario on April 8, 2021.
Patrick in his 80th year, will be greatly missed by his children Kelly Shafer (Amanda Couch) of Whitehorse Yukon and Alynn Shafer (Bruno Timpano) of Ottawa Ontario.
Dear son of the late James and Aileen Shafer. Brother of Connie Shafer and the late Michael Shafer.
Born in Fergus Ontario, he proudly served as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and later with the Labour Relations Board. His love of golf, good food and fine scotch was well known to all. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church, 503 Clothier Street East, Kemptville on Thursday September 2, 2021 at 11am.
