Patricia Mary Callahan
March 12, 1940 – December 17, 2021
Died Peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Sadie Callahan, brother Kevin, sister Joan Riche and special friend Mary Thorne. Left with fond memories are brothers Donald (Marie) and Mike (Kathy), many nieces, nephews and cousins, special friend Carla Furlong, cousin Dean Gorman, and niece and caregiver Denise Callahan Ryan. Pat will be remembered by many for her generosity to help others and spent many years of her life caring for others. To her nieces and nephews, she was known as Aunta Claus and she entertained many with her accordion playing and singing. As previously arranged, cremation has taken place and at Pat’s request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be from Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
