Obituary
It is with broken hearts, the family of Pamela “Pam” Rose-Marie (Johnston) Jennings, loving wife of the late Albert Jennings, announce her passing on Sunday August 29, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Pam was born in Elliott Lake, ON, on December 26, 1959, a daughter of the late Karrl and Helen (Owens) Johnston. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Gene Johnston and Robert Morrison and brother-in-law Vincent Jennings
Pam met the love of her life Albert in 1976 and they were married on June 24, 1978.
She worked for Riley’s Home Care, a job in which she truly enjoyed, until her health prevented her to continue.
Pam was an avid baker, enjoyed crafting, collecting fridge magnets and shopping at her favorite store, Value Village. She was most happy spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her adoring children Albert Jennings (Lynette), Carol Osborne (Jon) and Crystal Doyle (Shawn); cherished grandchildren Josh (Courtney), Alex (Heather), Sydnee (Brandon), Deanna, Daneka, Lumen, Palin, Dean, Samarah and Ashley; one great grandson Henry; brothers Harvey Johnston (Carolyn), John Johnston (Louise), Corey Johnston (Karen), Manford Johnston (Janet), Lyndon Johnston (Linda), Newton Johnston (Lori), Allan Johnston (Pam), Matthew Johnston and Clifford Johnston (Tania); sisters Karla Kilpatrick (Mike), Krista Daley (Mark) and Tia Watters (Dale); brothers-in-law Roy Jennings (Helen) and Blanchard Jennings; sisters-in-law June Arsenault (David), Prudence Steeves (Bobby) and Laura Turner (Chris); her best friend Marsha Davenport; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the CAM Unit, St. Joseph’s Hospital, for the wonderful care Pam received during her stay there.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland with visitation on Thursday September 2, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Her Life will be held in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday September 3, 2021 at 11 am. Albert and Pam will both be laid to rest together in Hillsdale Cemetery on Saturday September 4, 2021 at 2 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of one’s choice.
