Alice (Allison) Olivier nee Doek
May 11 1941- May 25 2021
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Olivier on May 25,2021 at Hanover and district hospital.
She is survived by her children Michelle Olivier, David (Corinne) Olivier, Debbie (Dennis)Olivier,Brian Oliivier, grandchildren Brandon(Cadence) , Caitlyn(Jimmy), Jordan(Neisha), Brooke(Aaron), Brittany(Brandon), Brennan(Jenna), Hope(Dylan). Paige,Danica and great grandchildren Cooper, Noah, Addisyn and Ashton.
She also leaves to cherish her memory, her sister Barb Tamming, brother Bill Doek, many nieces and nephews and her facebook Christian community.
Alice is predeceased by her parents, brothers Arnold and Bert Doek and former spouse Anthony Olivier.
Alice was born May 11, 1941 in Holland. She immigrated to Canada with her family when she was a young child and was raised on their dairy farm in Ontario.
As a Young adult, Alice met Tony Olivier, also from Holland, whom she married and started a family with. She enjoyed camping and trips to the beach with her family. Later in life, she volunteered at a seniors home in Barrie, Ontario.
Alice had great love for animals and birds. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, but her true passion was sharing the gospel and her Saviours love.
She is now sheltered in the arms of God.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
The immediate family will have a memorial gathering at a later date.
Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
