Lowe, Olive (nee Smith)
Died peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Woodlands of Sunset Retirement Home in Welland at 98 years of age.
Olive was born in Castleford England, the youngest of 10 children. She married in England and came to Canada as an English War Bride.
Predeceased by her husband Wilfred Lowe and son Paul Lowe. Olive leaves behind her daughter Eileen Bodo and son Rickie Lowe. Cherished grandmother of Sean and Tanya Santoro, Jacqueline and Ryan Lowe and great grandmother of Marcus and Alexander Santoro, and Ryarson Santoro-Gauthier.
Olive and her husband Wilfred were very involved in the Seventh Day Adventist Church their whole lives and touches the lives of many people.
Our family would like to express our many thanks to all the staff at Woodlands for the wonderful care she received while there. Special thanks to Thadeus and Phyllis Reid for all their many years of care.
In keeping with Olive’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will gather for a graveside service around Easter (the Holiest time of the year). Olive lies at rest in the Lord until his triumphant return.
