It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Oakley St. Elmo Brereton on June 20, 2021.
Oakley was born in Eastlyn St. George Barbados now joining his late Father Theodore Brereton, Mother Hazel King Brereton, sister Angela Belgrave, Brothers: Earl, Url, Carl, Blair, Samuel Brereton.
Leaves behind his loving wife Marcia Jordan; Siblings: Gloria Brereton, Collis, John ( Jewel), Andrew (Hyacinth), Peter Brereton, sister in law Hetty Brereton, Loved Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, friends and Cricket Fraternity.
Family and Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road, (at Aviation Parkway) Ottawa, on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 2 to 6 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions attendance will be by RSVP for the visiting and service. Please visit Mr. Brereton’s page on our website and RSVP using the links underneath the obituary.
