Norma Kathleen Campbell 1928 2021

The death
occurred on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Charlottetown of Norma
Kathleen Campbell. Predeceased by parents Hilma and Wesley Campbell,
brothers Don and Jackie Campbell of Whim Road, brother Stuart and Jim
Campbell of Riverview, NB, nephew David Jackart of Saint John, NB and
niece Ruth Anderson of Richmond, BC. Survived by nephews Doug Jackart,
Mike Jackart (Anna) and James Campbell (Monica), all of Fredericton,
NB. Predeceased by sister Jean Jackart.
Norma’s first job was a Cashier Position
for Moore and McLeod Department Store, Charlottetown for five years.
She was a Secretary for Base Supply Officer, USAF Base, Stephenville,
NFLD for one year. Norma was a Stenographer for Freight Rates
Department, CNR Montreal for five years, then transferred to
Charlottetown on account of her Father’s illness. Worked in
Freight Sales for seven years. She went on to write her Civil Service
Exams and was top mark and very proud to come first. She was a
Stenographer for Detachment and Highway Patrol, RCMP Charlottetown for
twenty one years which turned out to be her favourite job.
Norma will be forever remembered by her family,
friends, extended family and all who came to know and love her.
Due to Covid 19 and restrictions, and private family
burial took place in the Lower Montague Cemetery. Online condolences
