Norma Eveline Grant (LaFond)
With sadness the family of Norma Eveline Grant (LaFond) announces her peaceful passing on June 1, 2021, at Afton Park Place in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Edward (2009) and loving mother of the late Roy Allan (2011). Survived by her son Ross (Kim) Grant, Sarnia and daughter Ruth (Dale) Hummel, Cortland, New York. Grandmother of Ken (Laurie) Grant, Dave Grant, Adam Hummel, Terra Hummel and Rachael (Patrick) Wilson. Great-grandmother of Alexander, Nola and Wyatt. Predeceased by brothers Leonard and Sherwood LaFond and sisters Lola Casey and Phyllis Russell.
Norma volunteered with Lambton Seniors for several years and could be seen pinning poppies in November for Legion Branch 62.
The family is very grateful for the exceptional care she received at Afton Park Place. Cremation has taken place.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or charity of choice. A private family service will be held at a later date.
