Nick Nicky Raines Sunday December 5th 2021

Nick (Nicky – Nick See) George Raines
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden, unexpected passing of Nick Raines on December 5th, 2021. Beloved son of Joanne and the late Nick Sr. Dearly loved brother to David (Christina), Sharlene and Ron. Joanne’s husband Jack shared a heartfelt relationship with Nick. Nick and his wife Georgia were the loves of each other’s life. Nick had an exceptional bond with his son, Jordan. They not only shared birthday celebrations; being only a day apart, but deeply connected through their creativity, knowledge and love of music. Nick was a cherished son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin in both the Raines and Petgrave families.
Nick was a one of a kind creative, spiritual soul with a wicked sense of humour. He could fiercely debate almost any topic or sit quietly in nature. He had a dedicated work ethic and travelled the roads of life & work for over 20 years with his team at Valley View Waterproofing. Nicky inherited a strong love of music from his parents which he expressed through writing, producing and performing. He carried that on as colleague, collaborator and mentor in the music industry.
Nick loved the camaraderie of family and friend gatherings where he touched and enriched many. His laughter, music and memory will live on in each of us.
Cremation, followed by a private service at Marshall Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
The in person service is by invite only. If you would like to watch the livestream on Sunday, December 19th at 3pm:
