With sorrow, we announce the death of Nick Robichaud on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at age of 35 years. He passed away peacefully in hospital, with his mom Cathy at his side.
Nick was a loving man with a kind and gentle soul, a precious son, brother, uncle and friend who has been taken from us too soon. He cared about the well-being of those around him and did his best to be kind and loving to everyone he encountered.
Nick was a spiritual man who longed to create a new life for himself and longed for marriage and a family of his own. He was very close with his devoted mother Cathy, who tried very hard to help him with his struggles with mental health and addiction throughout his later years of life.
He loved spending time with family, and we have many fond memories, including his love of skating and hockey, nature, fishing and camping, painting, writing, music and animals (especially cats) and family visits to Calgary.
Nick is lovingly remembered by his mother, Cathy; sister, Erica French (Tyler); brother, Tyler Robichaud (Emily); nephews, Luke, Jake and Liam; and niece, Rose; as well as many special aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Bob.
A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Edmonton, Alberta (15495 Castle Downs Rd NW). Due to COVID regulations, it will be an outdoor service.
