Neil Dan Brydon 19362021

Neil Dan Brydon
1936-2021
The death
occurred peacefully at Andrews of Stratford, on Wednesday morning,
April 14th, of Neil Dan Brydon. Neil was born to Carl and Mary
(MacInnis) on June 16, 1936 in Jamaica Plains, Boston, USA, but has
spent almost 43 years in Heatherdale, PEI. Dear father to Brenda
(Laurie LeClair), Carl (Rhonda Garland) and Peter (Hilary). His
grandchildren; Owen, Silas, Emmett, Calum, Mairi, Eithne, Brianna,
Brandon, and Bailey were an immense source of joy and pride. Neil is
lovingly remembered by brother Malcolm (Calais, ME) and sister Christy
Gallagher (Duxbury, MA), numerous nieces and nephews and many Matheson
in-laws who welcomed him as a brother. Predeceased by the love of his
life, Mary Matheson. A hobby woodworker, avid racquetball player,
dedicated Bruins and Patriots fan, deeply faithful member of Hillcrest
United Church and a lover of Celtic heritage, Dad will be remembered
for the involved and active life he led. A private wake and funeral
will be held, but if you wish to honour his memory, donations to the
Valleyfield Cemetery Fund or Hillcrest United Church would be greatly
appreciated.
