Neil passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home in his 70th year on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Nancy Beattie Barber. Loved son of the late Violet and Bernard Barber. Dear brother of Norman Barber (Eugenia). Loved son-in-law of Vera and George (deceased) Beattie. Dear brother-in-law of Linda and Peter (deceased) Chiodo. Special uncle to Patty Gardner (Scott), Peter (Andrea) and Melissa Lannigan (partner Kyle McClymont). Great-uncle to Rebecca Pezzimenti (Paul), Lyndsay, Scotty, Mary Grace, Ann Caroline, Peter Joseph, Emily, Matthew and Nicholas. Neil will be greatly missed by the Kachor and Petranik families and good friends Annalise and Heinz Ott.
A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2022 and information will be posted on the Egan Funeral Home website. If so desired, donations in memory of Neil may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
