Obituary of Myrtle Brunelle
Brunelle, Myrtle of St. Thomas and formerly a longtime resident of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in her 89th year. Wife of the late Paul Brunelle. Dear mother of Michael Mitchell(Gloria) of St. Thomas and Ken Mitchell of Windsor. Step-mother of Michael Brunelle(Cindy), Paul Brunelle(Susan), Pamela Brunelle, Philip Brunelle and Michelle Barrett(Paul). Loving sister of Marion Dawdy, Betty Matthews, Lois Kuppe(John) and Pat Foster(Bill). Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Norma Beecroft and brothers John, Doug, Melvin and Fred Webber, step-daughters Tena and Christine Brunelle. Born in Dutton, Ontario on September 13, 1932, daughter of the late Fred and Lena (Burns) Webber. Myrt was an active member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. She worked at the Aylmer I.G.A., Clarke’s Restaurant and retired from the Ontario Police College. Myrt enjoyed playing darts and camping. A private family funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11a.m. and will be available to watch through livestream. Cremation-Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
