Myrtle’s Obituary
ISRAEL, Myrtle – Age 69, Shelburne passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Roseway Hospital. Born August 7, 1951 in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Zilpha (Sullivan) Israel. Myrtle was a unique and independent woman who lived life on her own terms, never letting anything hold her back. She enjoyed reading, especially about the Royal Family and listening to music. She loved being outside, walking in the fresh air. You could always find her walking around the Town of Shelburne, where she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her only daughter, Dawn, Barrington; her two grandchildren, Sheena, Barrington and Brittany, Fredericton, NB; her three great grandchildren Wyatt, Fredericton, NB; Madison and Grayson, Barrington. She is also survived her brothers and sisters; Harold (Cathy), Shelburne; Mary, Lunenburg; Wesley, Lockeport and Margaret, Perth, ON; as well as her niece Victoria, Halifax and nephew Dennis (Renee), Brampton, ON.
There will be a small graveside committal service for the family held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Shelburne. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.huskilson.net

  1. My condolences to the family of Myrtle . Myrtle was a trooper around town . I saw her many times a day on my way to and fro work and always gave her a wave .
    When I heard of her passing I was shocked and saddened .
    With deepest sympathy to the family , I will miss seeing her .
