Murray’s Obituary
ROSE, Murray Leroy– age 75, Port Maitland, formerly of Upper Musquodoboit, passed away on September 13th, 2021, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 20, 1946, he was the son of the late Weldon Rose and Viola (Melanson) Rose-White. Murray was retired but had had a varied career. He had an interior design business in Dartmouth, managed the restaurant at Inn on the Lake, sold real estate, was manager for ICS courier service and most recently worked for Canada Post. He enjoyed Classic cars, and was especially proud of the Cadillacs that he owned over the years. He also loved antiques and spending time at his RV at his brother Greg’s Sunday Lake campground. He was a gentle and optimistic soul who quietly made the best of any situation. He was well liked and well loved by friends and family. He is survived by his brother Greg (Linda), Hebron and sister Jennie Morrow, Mavillette, (Paul J. Deveau); nieces Heidi Newell, Chrystal Rose, Hannah Rhyno-Milot, Cindy Nowe, Cathy Benson; nephews Chris Rose, Patrick Rhyno and Steven Rose. Aside form his parents he is predeceased by Wayne Scott, (who he thought of as a son), his sister Wanda Rose, brother Joe and niece Charmaine Rose. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 25,2021, From Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. Memorial Donations in Murray’s memory can be made to the Canadian Red Cross. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth, where you may leave messages of condolence for the family by visiting www.huskilson.net
