Murray Bertrand 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Murray Bertrand. We mourn but also celebrate an incredible man who knew no limit for love or kindness, always helped in every way he could, and loved his family and friends unconditionally. He was a hard-working husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We will always remember his Sunday morning breakfasts, his love of woodwork, his card playing and his infectious laughter. Murray passed away peacefully on Sunday December 19th 2021 with his family by his side. He was 90 years old. He lived an extraordinary life surrounded by family and friends who adored him. Murray was born on March 25th, 1931 in Sudbury, Ontario. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Rose (née Renaud), his brother Raymond and sister Carmen. Loving brother of Pauline (Claude Marchand), and Doris (Ray Bradley predeceased). He is survived by the love of his life his wife of 68 years Jeannine (née Villeneuve). He will be sadly missed by his children Susan (Jack Sonnier), Debbie (Guy Brunet), Lise (Roger Comtois), Linda (Denis Prévost) and his two sons Robert and Paul. He was a proud grandfather to Tiffany, Jamie, Jason, Robin, Joey, Carrie-Lynne, Chantal, Maegan, Maeva, Sophie and Emilie, and great-grandfather to 18 wonders. He will be sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
