1957 – 2021
Marie “Monique” Ena (DeGarie) English of Miramichi (Loggieville), NB, wife of Drew English, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the age of 64.
Monique attended St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Loggieville and Eastside Church, Miramichi.
Monique is survived by her husband: Drew; her parents: Ronald and Bernadette (Godin) DeGarie of Moncton, NB; children: Emily English (Rick Wakefield) of Miramichi, NB, Stephanie English (Shane MacIver) and Jason English (Chelsi Doyle) of Fredericton, NB; sisters: Denise DeGarie Noël (Gaëtan) of Lamèque, NB and Nicole Pelletier (Sylvain) of Moncton, NB; brother: Jean DeGarie of Moncton, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Miramichi (Nelson) on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating.
Please note: All attendees must provide proof of vaccination upon arrival at the church for the funeral service, as well as mandatory mask and physical distancing in all indoor spaces.
As expressions of sympathy, in Monique’s memory, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice or a mass card. Messages to the family can be sent through the funeral home website at www.bellsmeadows.com
