Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Evelyn Minty of Elmvale, beloved wife of the late Clive Minty. Cherished mother of Diane and her husband John Pinder of Elmvale, Brian and his wife Elaine of Kincardine, John and his wife Myriam of Elmvale and Paul and his wife Brigitte of Elmvale. Predeceased by sons Doug and Charles (survived by Heather). Proud grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 15. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Dora Martin, she was their last surviving child of 7 girls and 3 boys. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews.
Evelyn loved a good game of Bid Euchre and besides playing in Elmvale she would travel to Bayshore Senior’s Club and Wyevale to fulfill her ‘mean competitive streak’. Evelyn was greatful for the generous phone calls and food that arrived at her door. She loved being part of the Elmvale Community and treasured her many friends there.
A private family graveside service will take place at the Elmvale Cemetery on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
Evelyn was a supporter of the Elmvale & District Food Bank and so the family would appreciate memorial donations to that organization in her memory.
