Miles Donald Henderson
– age 71, formerly of Hantsport, passed away in Evergreen
Home for Special Care, Kentville, on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Born
in Wolfville, he was a son of Ruby (Miles) Henderson of Wolfville; and
the late Donald Henderson. Miles was a jack of all trades. He worked
for several years in Halifax helping with the construction of many
buildings. Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Carrie
(Nicholas) Davidson and Jennifer Henderson-Harris (Brian Harris), all
of New Minas; Liza Coburn-Brewer (Scott Brewer), Avonport; Angela
MacLeod, Wolfville; son, Kevin (Angela) Henderson, Grimshaw, Alberta;
sister, Carolyn Forsythe, Wolfville; his happy, Madison
“Maddy” Smith; several grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends. In addition to
his father, he was predeceased by his wife, Gail (Berry); sister,
Patricia Henderson; and brother-in-law, Bill Forsythe. Cremation has
taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A
private burial will take place in Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville, at
a later date. The family would like to express their sincere
appreciation to the DTM Safety & Security staff and to the
Evergreen Home for Special Care. Donations in Miles’ memory
may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
