Michael John MacDonald 1942 2021

Peacefully
at home with his loving family by his side, the passing of Michael
John MacDonald age 79 of Georgetown, devoted husband of 53 years to
Florence (King) MacDonald, occurred on Monday, November 29, 2021. Born
in St. Georges, Februray 28, 1942, son of the late Duncan and Regina
(MacMaster) MacDonald. Survived by children, Lori Allain (Gaetan),
Angela Patton (Bobby Rafuse) and Donald MacDonald (Melissa Maguire);
sisters, Bernice Sheehan, Sarah Newell and Annie; cherished
grandchildren, Candace, Jenna, Jacob, Taylor, Connor, Chloe, Arc,
Ryland and Knox; adored great grandchildren, Gage and Aisha; numerous
nieces and nephews, extended family; many good friends especially
Allan Petre and Brian Hann. Predeceased by son Michael Charles;
sisters, Clemmie Somers, Rita MacPhee, Georgina MacDonald, Nora
MacDonald, Mary Flynn and brother Joseph MacDonald.
Michael was a very hard
working man with many friends. Nobody was a stranger. He loved to tell
a fib and always had a great story to tell. He was a loving husband,
father, grandfather and great grandfather, uncle and friend. He had a
heart of gold. He will be missed by many.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with
Public visiting on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 5 to 8 pm, you must
have Double VAX and Government ID with you to enter. Private family
Mass by invitation to take place on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at St.
James Catholic Church, Georgetown. Interment to take place in the
Parish Cemetery. Online condolences may be made through the Funeral
