Michael Daniel Falkenham 1979 2021

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing
of Michael Daniel Falkenham of Cape George, Antigonish County which
occurred on May 16, 2021 at home, due to a heart
attack.
The son of Dan and Florence (MacLean) Falkenham, he was born
at St Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish, NS.
He graduated from the Dr John Hugh Regional and at that time
he began his career in fishing. In 2020 he became the
captain of the River Dawson. Michael loved everything about
the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He could turn
his hand at anything, no task to large. Mike was always
ready and willing to help anyone.
He is survived by his parents Dan and Florence of Cape
George, sisters: Norma (Kai) Salimaki, Charlene Myles and
brother: Allen (Tracy); nieces: Josee,
Abby and Suvi ; nephews: River, Dawson, Tommy, Sami and
Noah.
Michael was predeceased by maternal grandparents
Joe and Marcella MacLean and paternal grandparents Kimball
and Catherine Falkenham. Aunts Carly and Patricia, Uncle AJ
and Brother in Law Ken Myles.
Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the
Holy Rosary Cemetery Fund, 8317 Hwy 337 Livingstones Cove, Antigonish
NS, B2G 2L1 or the N S Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
Due to Covid restrictions funeral arrangements will be
