Obituary of Micah Joseph Carter Schroeder
Micah Joseph Carter Schroeder peacefully gained his angel wings in the early morning of November 13, 2021, after battling a rare brain tumor. Micah was born in Steinbach, Manitoba on February 6, 2018, to parents Larry and Jessica Schroeder. Micah was an active and happy toddler. He loved playing with his sisters and friends and always had a smile on his face. Though his life was brief, his memory lives on in his family and friends.
Micah is survived by his parents, his sisters, Krystal and Kinsley. Both sets of grandparents Johan and Helena Schroeder and Walter and Helmine Sawatzky. As well as three uncle and three aunts with 10 cousins from the Schroeder side and two uncles, three aunts and one cousin from the Sawatzky side.
We would like to thank the Children’s Hospital for all their hard work. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Vanan from CancerCare for his unending fight for Micah. A big thank you to Birchwood Funeral Chapel and every single person that has helped in anyway. We greatly appreciate every single person that has helped us with this hardship.
A public come & go will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. following Covid restrictions. Please line up in your vehicle on the west side of the building and a director will usher you in when it is safe to do so
