Dolly passed away peacefully on October 21, 2021, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her Parents George & Tillie and brother Robert, Dolly is survived by Cecil, her husband of 64 years, and family members Sandy, Pat (Terry), Peggy (Glenn), Mike (Diana), Sheila (Oly), Sharon, and David (Bernie), many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with multiple extended family members.
Dolly was born in Scott, Saskatchewan on September 16, 1937, and relocated to the Okanagan in the early 1940s, where she spent most of her life.
Dolly’s home was always open to everyone, at anytime, to drop in for a visit, a beer, dinner, some great stories, and even an overnight stay. She always made everyone feel welcome.
Known as “Mom” to all that knew her and all who were involved in her life (they know who they are), Dolly thoroughly enjoyed her time with everyone that spent time with her. She will be greatly missed by many, especially during the times of her famous summer BBQ’s, which she loved to host and make sure everyone had plenty to eat and never went home hungry.
There will be a celebration of life for “Mom” in the Summer of 2022.
