Obituary of Melanie Freeman
FREEMAN, Melanie PH.D., C. Psych
passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 44 years of age. Melanie was predeceased by her adored parents, Douglas and Jane Freeman. She will be fondly remembered by her cousins, and her adopted family the Shoebottoms. She was proud to serve her community through her practice, Kaleidoscope Child and Family Care and with the Greater Es County District School Board. Melanie was an exceptional person who cared so much about her family and friends and the children she met through her practice. She will be forever missed. In following Melanie’s wishes, a private family cremation service has taken place. If desired memorial donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice or Children’s Mental Health Ontario.
