Maxine Hinz, 80, of RR2, Monkton passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 25, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Hinz (2013). Dear mother of George, Glen, Gary, Wayne and Joanne Hinz. Loving grandmother of Lorraine (Tory). Dear sister-in-law of Martha Sykes (Gerry) and Dorothy Schutt (George). Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents George and Marie Chowen and sister Audrey Moffat.
Maxine was a long time member of the Brodhagen Chamber of Commerce and enjoyed playing cards.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 2-6 p.m.. A graveside service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brodhagen on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating. Memorial donations to Brodhagen Chamber of Commerce or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com. Those wishing to attend the visitation or graveside service must register online at LockhartFuneralHome.com or by phone at 519-348-8643. All coming must have a scheduled time and wear a mask.Those attending the visitation, please enter the funeral home at the exact time your time slot begins.
