Obituary of Mary Lewis
Mrs. Clarice Mary Elizabeth Lewis went home to be with her Savior on April 4, 2021 at the age of 101. She was the daughter of John and Grace (Deverill) Riley and the husband of the late Ernest Lewis.
Clarice enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything to do with the outdoors. She loved to work on her flower beds, she was an accomplished seamstress, but most of all loved spending time with her family.
She will live on in the hearts of her sons: Bob Lewis and his wife Celine of Matthews Settlement and Ed Lewis and his wife Connie of Moncton; daughter in law, Doris Lewis of Quispamsis; her brother, Peter Riley of Fredericton; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son, Arthur Lewis; her brothers: Hugh, Alec, Jack and Stan Riley and by her sister, Lilla Riley.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB, from where public visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 6:00pm – 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Clarice’s life will be held from Encounter Church (280 St George St, Sus, NB E4E 1G6) on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00pm. Due to Covid-19 please contact the funeral home to reserve your seat.
