Obituary of Mary Buckner
BUCKNER- Mary Francis passed away peacefully at Welland Hospital on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of Glen (predeceased) for 68 years, predeceased by her half-sister June (Jim) and half-brother John (Joan) and loving mother of late John (Leanne), Robert (Cheryl) and William, dear grandmother of Kim (Matt), Ryan, Dean (Shala), Marnie (Billy), Alana (GC), Nate (Alyssa), Jared and Coralie (Ryan), great grandmother of Carter, Chase, Keyah, Hunter, Hudson, Stella, Harper, Evelyn, Fiona, Emmett, Eleanor and sister-in-law of Marjorie Buckner. Mary was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Evelyn Ehde. She was an awesome mother and worked as a school teacher. Mary was a member of Forkes Road East United Church. Special thanks to the staff at Shorthills Villa Retirement Community in Fonthill for all their loving care over the past several years .A private family burial will occur at Zion Cemetery.
