Mary’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Mary Marjorie Payne announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Pt, NL, on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Janet (Brain), Stephen (Lavern), Meta (Tom), Heber, Irene (Todd), Keith (Marilene), and Leah, her daughter-in-law; Brenda, and son-in-law; Andrew, her 28 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren, her siblings; George (Blenda), and Delora (Bill), her sisters-in-law; Bertha Payne, Charlotte Payne, and Annie May Reid, and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mary was predeceased by her husband; Stanley Payne, her son; Asaph Payne and daughter; Hannah Parsons, her great grandson; Kyle, her special friend; Claude White, parents; Mary Ann and Norman Payne, parents-in-law; Deborah and Charles Payne, her sisters; Eliza, Kathlene, and Hannah, her brothers; Richard, Sandy, and Henry, her sister-in-law; Mable, brothers-in-law; Kenneth, and Emmanuel.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, at 3:30pm, with Rev Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
Please keep in mind the Covid – 19 Government Regulations during the visitations, and the Funeral service. The funeral service will be live streamed, to view the funeral service please go to our face book page @ Parsons Funeral Home (Deer Lake) to view the service.
We know that our grieving families still need to feel the same level of support from you their family, friends, loved ones and community. The family would like to express their gratitude to her special homecare workers, who she greatly adored; Marie Rose, and Tina Payne-Blanchard. And also a special thanks to the staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, for all their care and support during her stay. Thank- You so much.
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
