THOMAS (FISHER), Mary Elizebeth Philomene
Surrounded by the love of her family, Mary died peacefully at her daughter’s home in Bonfield on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was 75 years old. Mary was the loving partner of Lloyd Bowman of Powassan, and was predeceased by her husband Lorne Edward Thomas (1935-2015). She was the beloved mother of Jacqueline Lachnit (Ken) and Jennifer Tennant (Eric), all of Bonfield, the late Jordan Thomas (1998-2014), and mother-in-law of Joseph Reaume. She was the much-loved grandmother of Taylor, Osheanna, Owen and Breanna. Mary will be fondly remembered by Rosalie, and family, Deb and Kodie, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was the dear sister of Marion Quickfall of Nottingham, England and Richard Fisher of North Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be announced and celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral, North Bay, after COVID restrictions are lifted. Special thanks to the homecare nurses, particularly Phillip, and also Deacon Al Falconi and Monsignor Dave Tramontini. Mary was known near and far for her selfless care of and generosity to everyone.
