It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Ihasz, on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in the Alderwood Rest Home, Baddeck.
Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Irene (Ferrier) Hill.
Until retirement, Mary worked with Bell Telephone.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rev. Louis Ihasz, Baddeck; son, Andrew (Jessica), Edmonton; brother, Paul (Marilyn), Lindsay, ON; and grandchildren, Jack Louis and Rachel Isabella.
Mary was predeceased by her son, Louis and brother, Vernon.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. Services will take place at a later date when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
