Madame Mary Dollena Warren-Giguere
1939-2021
La famille Giguère a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de Mary Dollena Warren, dit « Dolly » décédé le 21 décembre 2021, à l’âge de 81 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil son conjoint Philippe Giguère, ses enfants: John Giguère (Chantal Borg), Martine Giguère (feu Éric Laurendeau) et Mark Giguère (Annie Arseneault) ; ses frères Garth Warren (Helen Warren), Neil Warren (Diane Warren) et Brian Warren (Joanne Warren) ; ses petits-enfants :Dennis Giguère (Joannie St-Pierre), Andrew Giguère, Patrick Giguère (Emily Sylvester), Éric Giguère et Matthieu Giguère; ses arrière-petits-enfants Livia Giguère, Anaé Giguère et Elias Giguère: ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Earl Warren et Serena Warren.
Elle était originaire de South Branch, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Après ses études secondaires à Mount Carmel Academy, elle a fait son cours d’infirmière à l’hôpital St-Joseph à St-John, Nouveau-Brunswick, obtenant son diplôme en 1960. Elle a ensuite travaillé pendant 37 ans à l’hôpital St-Vincent de Paul à Sherbrooke, Québec et a pris sa retraite en 1998. Elle a fait du bénévolat pour le Lennoxville And District Women’s Center ainsi que pour la Société canadienne du cancer (secteur Sherbrooke) pendant plusieurs années.
Les funérailles auront lieu à une date ultérieure.
La famille désire remercier tout le personnel de l’Hôpital de Hull, la Maison Bruyère d’Aylmer ainsi que le personnel de la Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie pour tous les bons soins prodigués.

The Giguère family regrets to announce the death of Mary Dollena Warren, known as “Dolly”, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her spouse Philippe Giguère, her children: John Giguère (Chantal Borg), Martine Giguère (late Éric Laurendeau) and Mark Giguère (Annie Arseneault); her brothers Garth Warren (Helen Warren), Neil Warren (Diane Warren) and Brian Warren (Joanne Warren); her grandchildren: Dennis (Joannie St-Pierre), Andrew, Patrick (Emily Sylvester), Éric and Matthieu; her great-grandchildren Livia, Anaé and Elias; as well as many relatives and friends. She was the daughter of Earl and Serena Warren.
She was a native of South Branch, New Brunswick. After her high school at Mount Carmel Academy, she did her Registered Nurse course at St-Joseph hospital in St-John, New Brunswick, graduating in 1960. She then worked for 37 years at St-Vincent de Paul hospital in Sherbrooke, Quebec and retired in 1998. She volunteered for the Lennoxville And District Women’s Centre as well as for the Canadian Cancer Society (Sherbrooke sector) for several years.
The funeral will take place later this spring.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the Hull Hospital, the Résidence Maison Bruyère and at the Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie for all the good care provided.
