On July 3rd, 2021, Martha Walker Bell (Tough) 83, passed away peacefully at Peterborough Hospice with her true love and family by her side.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Martha met and married Albert in 1957. Theirs was a true and steadfast love. Together they emigrated with their sons to Canada in 1972. They raised their family in Scarborough and upon Marthas retirement from Bell Canada they settled in Hastings, Ontario.
Being avid campers and with a love for the beach, Martha and Albert enjoyed many happy years travelling and as Florida snowbirds.
In her past few years Martha found great joy in her frequent facetimes with Great-Granddaughters Ivy and Harwin and visits from Ashley & Quinston. She was a member of the Cliff Richards fan club and a self-proclaimed #1 fan. She spent her last days soothed by his music.

Martha is predeceased by her parents Daniel and Margaret (Love) Tough; sister Jean (Tough) Cadden and brother Robert Tough.
The family would like to thank Dr. Binnett, Dr. Whiteing, the nursing staff of Saint Elizabeth’s nursing services as well as the staff at the Peterborough Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated.
