Marjorie H. Legge of
Twillingate, Newfoundland, peacefully passed away at the Notre Dame
Bay Memorial Health Center on Tuesday, September
14, 2021 at the age of 87
years.
Marjorie is predeceased
by: parents Gerald and Susie Gidge; husband Walter; son
Bert; brother John Gidge; and sister Lillian (Frank)
Rogers.
Marjorie leaves with fond and
loving memories: children: Melvin (Michelle), Judy (Brian) Hillier and
Howard; grandchildren: Evan, Colton, Autumn, Chloe, Samuel and
Courtney. Marjorie, also leaves sister-in-law Betty Gidge,
as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and
safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest
priority. At this time, there will be a
public visitation from the Isles Funeral
Home, Twillingate on Thursday evening from 7-9pm. A funeral
service by invitation only, will take
place from the Salvation Army Citadel on Friday September 17, 2021 at
2pm; with Captains Keith and Charlene Barrett
officiating.
Donations in Marjorie’s memory may be given to
Salvation Army Red Shield.
