February 14, 1922 – April 14, 2021

With great sadness we inform you that our beloved
Mother, Marion Robertson passed away 14 April 2021 at
Maplestone Enhanced Care, Halifax. She was born in
Sydney Cape Breton on Valentines Day 1922, along with
a twin brother, Arthur Cameron MacLennan (died in
1956). She was the chosen child of Simon and Annie
(MacLeod) Landry. She was predeceased by her husband
of over 70 years, Ellison, parents Simon and Annie,
brothers Alfred Kenneth (died as infant), Frank, Everett
and beloved sister, Velma Hubley, Grandparents,
Kenneth and Johanna (MacEachern) MacLeod and
cherished Grandson Essen Robertson. She is survived by
her children Ellison (Marion Campbell), Jane (Randy)
Harnish, Stuart (Karen Boozan), and Cathy (Charles)
Colville as well as many Grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren.
Thanks to the staff of Maplestone and
her community on Evans for their great care and love
shown to Mom the past three and a half years. Also,
thank you to The Berkeley Gladstone for enabling Mom
to maintain some measure of independence for the four
years of her residence there and for providing
reassurance to her family regarding her welfare.
Cremation has taken place but due to covid travel
restrictions no service will take place at this time.
